As you know if you follow my martini blog here, I am very fond of Cherry flavored vodka. The other day I was experimenting with this cherry infused vodka again - yeah, dangerous. I'm like a mad chemist trying to bring designer martinis to life, lol. I had just gotten some coconut milk for some of my tropical martini recipe concoctions (a few new ones will be popping up here soon) and I decided to try it out with the cherry vodka. I wasn't really too sure if it would be drinkable or end up going down the sink - cherry and coconut together didn't seem like a good mix but you can be surprised what goes well together and I was - The Missing Cherry-tini came out really good and I ended up having a couple of them. Okay, I had three, all right? What are you, my mother?
The name came from the last one. I dropped my very last Maraschino cherry and it rolled off into the void - I suspect Pixel grabbed it before I could - so I was missing my cherry garnish. So, as always, drink responsibly - especially if you value your cherries.
