Amaretto WINTER SNOWFLAKE MARTINI & Nogatini

For all you Amaretto fans out there the Winter Snowflake Martini should solve your thirst for a creamy almond kissed cocktail. Just make sure your vodka and Amaretto are chilled when you mix them with the heavy cream to avoid any curdling. Sprinkle with a little nutmeg on top and drop in a chocolate flavored candy cane for garnish and have yourself a Merry Little Christmas.

And don't think that Martini Claus has forgotten you either! Here's a little bonus Christmas eggnog martini recipe from last year tucked into your stocking:

PEPPERMINT PATTY - Hot Cocoa and Peppermint Rocks!

Though the PEPPERMINT PATTY is not a martini I just had to post the cocktail recipe for this warm and minty hot cocoa treat! It's called a Peppermint Patty and is just delicious for sipping in front of a warm fire after a day of ice skating, skiing or reading a good book all tucked up in your favorite chair!

The classic Peppermint Patty is so easy - just grab a couple packets of your favorite instant hot cocoa, prepare according to the package and then stir in a nice dash of peppermint schnapps or other peppermint liqueur. Pop a cute little mini candy cane in (some great chocolate ones are made by Hersheys and can be found at Walmart!)

CHRISTMAS COSMOPOLITAN - Cranberry Christmas Martini

THE CHRISTMAS COSMOPOLITAN RECIPE
Updated November 19, 2015

The Cosmopolitan goes Christmas with the addition of a fun garnish of Sugared Cranberries. Cosmos are a great holiday martini because they are cranberry based in flavor, making them the perfect cocktail for your holiday buffet or Christmas party.

The addition of Sugared Cranberries - recipe at The Diva of Tiny Foods - adds a festive holiday touch and some additional sweetness to balance the tart cranberry flavor.

Serve these with my Baked Cranberry Brie from the Diva of Tiny Foods and have a Berry Merry Christmas Cocktail Hour!

Hot Apple Martini: Mulled Cidertini for the Holidays

The Mulled Cidertini is a Christmas version of a spiced apple martini which can be served either hot or cold! If you serve this hot I suggest you use mugs instead of your delicate martini glasses though!

This spicy apple flavored martini is one of my most popular Holiday martinis. To me it brings back memories of ice skating parties with hot apple cider to drink while you flirted with your latest crush. Very nostalgic and comforting at the same time!

Serve these up with some of my cheese appetizers and finger foods - just hop over to The Diva of Tiny Foods and do a search for cheese!
