I can't think of Ireland or St. Patrick's Day without thinking of one of my favorite fictional heroines, Scarlett O'Hara and one of my favorite movies "Gone with the Wind."
The Scarlett O'Hara Martini is a "martini-ized" Whiskey Sour using lime instead of lemon and powdered sugar instead of a sugar cube. The green coloring is to make the drink the color of Scarlett's eyes and give it that St. Patrick's Day color - you are most welcome to leave it out and just rim the glass in the green sugar crystals if you like!
Serve it up with some Erin Go Bragh Pizza or other fun corned beef appetizers: The Diva of Tiny Foods St. Patrick's Day Appetizers and Snacks. You'll never believe what can be done with left over Corned Beef!
Here's my previous St. Patrick's Day Martinis:
The Blarney-Tini
The Emerald Isle Martini
The Irish Coffee Martini
The Irish Kiss Martini
The Midori Shamrock Martini
The Nutty Irishman
