The WHITE CHRISTMAS MARTINI - a Spiced White Chocolate Eggnog Cocktail

One of my all time favorite holiday songs is White Christmas by Bing Crosby. I always look to see if there's a broadcast of the classic Christmas movie Holiday Inn, starring Bing Crosby, Rosemary Clooney, Danny Kaye and the great Irving Berlin song "White Christmas".

This white chocolate flavored rum eggnog cocktail is my tribute to some personal holiday nostalgia.

PEPPERMINT PATTY - Hot Cocoa and Peppermint Rocks!

Though the PEPPERMINT PATTY is not a martini I just had to post the cocktail recipe for this warm and minty hot cocoa treat! It's called a Peppermint Patty and is just delicious for sipping in front of a warm fire after a day of ice skating, skiing or reading a good book all tucked up in your favorite chair!

The classic Peppermint Patty is so easy - just grab a couple packets of your favorite instant hot cocoa, prepare according to the package and then stir in a nice dash of peppermint schnapps or other peppermint liqueur. Pop a cute little mini candy cane in (some great chocolate ones are made by Hersheys and can be found at Walmart!)

CHRISTMAS COSMOPOLITAN - Cranberry Christmas Martini

THE CHRISTMAS COSMOPOLITAN RECIPE
Updated November 19, 2015

The Cosmopolitan goes Christmas with the addition of a fun garnish of Sugared Cranberries. Cosmos are a great holiday martini because they are cranberry based in flavor, making them the perfect cocktail for your holiday buffet or Christmas party.

The addition of Sugared Cranberries - recipe at The Diva of Tiny Foods - adds a festive holiday touch and some additional sweetness to balance the tart cranberry flavor.

Serve these with my Baked Cranberry Brie from the Diva of Tiny Foods and have a Berry Merry Christmas Cocktail Hour!

Hot Apple Martini: Mulled Cidertini for the Holidays

The Mulled Cidertini is a Christmas version of a spiced apple martini which can be served either hot or cold! If you serve this hot I suggest you use mugs instead of your delicate martini glasses though!

This spicy apple flavored martini is one of my most popular Holiday martinis. To me it brings back memories of ice skating parties with hot apple cider to drink while you flirted with your latest crush. Very nostalgic and comforting at the same time!

Serve these up with some of my cheese appetizers and finger foods - just hop over to The Diva of Tiny Foods and do a search for cheese!

If you have a Martini question, please feel free to ask me in a comment and I'll respond back here in the comments section or in a new post!

CANDY CANE MARTINI - Christmas, Holiday Martini #2

http://themartinidiva.com
The
CANDY CANE MARTINI RECIPE
has moved here.

The Candy Cane Martini is a peppermint flavored martini that brings back those Christmas memories of sitting on Santa's lap and whispering your Christmas List in his ear as a child. When that jolly old man asked you if you were "naughty or nice" you had to think about it for a minute because he knew when you'd been good or bad! If you were good a tiny little red and white candy cane was your reward!

You were good this year, right?

Well then, Ho, Ho, Ho - this holiday martini is my reward for you being good all year!

RUDOLPH the REINDEER'S Favorite Martini? - Holiday, Christmas Martinis

RUDOLPH'S REINDEER MARTINI RECIPE

It's that time of year again - time for your favorite Christmas Martinis and Holiday Cocktails! I'm starting with the favorites from last year and will be adding new Holiday Martinis until Santa Claus departs from the North Pole on his yearly flight.

This is Rudolf's Reindeer Martini - it helps light up his nose for that traditional world flight! The rum keeps him warm and the Bailey's and vodka keep him happy during all those landings and take-offs! If it's good enough for Rudolf you can't go wrong!

STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE MARTINI Cocktail Recipe

Strawberry Cheesecake Martini Cocktail Recipe

Just because strawberries might be out of season that shouldn't stop you from enjoying them year round in cocktails. I always keep some frozen fruits in my freezer and strawberries are the ones I use on a weekly basis. Aside from making great drinks with them I also make strawberry coulees for dessert sauces and plate decoration.

Strawberry topped cheesecake is one of my favorite desserts and this, frankly, is better because it has booze. If you can't get a fresh strawberry for your garnish just dip a frozen one in sugar and place that on the rim, it's like a strawberry popsicle.

Strawberry Cheesecake Martini Recipe with ingredients & instructions

The
STRAWBERRY
CHEESECAKE
MARTINI

INGREDIENTS
2 Oz. Strawberry Vodka
1 Oz. Vanilla Vodka
4 Fresh (or Frozen) Strawberries
1 Oz. Heavy Cream (or Half & Half)
1/2 Cup Crushed Ice

Garnish: Philly's Cheesecake Pie Filling & Crushed Graham Cracker Rim, Fresh Strawberry

Tools: Blender

DIRECTIONS
Pipe the cheesecake filling onto the rim of your glass* then dip in the crushed graham crackers.

Chill glass in freezer.
Add the ingredients to a blender then mix until smooth.
Pour into your chilled glass, garnish and serve.

*You don't need fancy cake baking equipment here, simply spoon the cheesecake filling into a small baggie, squeeze to towards 1 corner then clip a small piece of the bag corner off to pipe onto your glass rim.
